Children’s Wednesday Nightlife, is super excited to be offering a Kingdom Kids on Wednesday nights from 6-8pm in the Fellowship Hall. The children will meet and eat dinner together, worship together, have crafts, a Bible study and play time. Sandi Sefcik and her assistants will be heading this up and you don’t want to miss it. Please call the church office and let Laura know if you child would like to attend. Kindergarten-5th grade are welcome.
Children’s Ministries believe that more people start their personal spiritual journey as a young child then in all other age groups combined. This is why our Children’s Ministry is so important to us. We provide worship and fellowship outside of Sunday School for infants to 6th grade. Children’s Ministries activities include Vacation Bible School, mission projects, summer camp, annual Christmas pageant, pool parties, seasonal adventures (like Santa’s Wonderland and visits to the Burleson County Fair) and any other fun our Children’s Director can dream up! When Jesus said, “Let the children come to me,” we believe this was our command to make a way for every child to learn how special they are to Him and how loved they are by Him. We continue to study curriculum that emphasizes a growing relationship with God. There’s three core truths that we teach; I can trust God no matter what, I should treat others the way I want to be treated, I need to make the wise choice.
The Orange Curriculum is based on the idea of intersecting what children learn at church, school, and at home. There is a specific quality that is explored and illustrated in Bible Study each month, which follows the same scripture and theme of Pastor Wayne’s sermons, and coordinated as well as in Caldwell ISD. Children’s Bible Study classes meet at 9:30 a.m., and they are divided into three age groups: Kindergarten through 1st grade, 2nd through 3rd grade and 4th through 5th grade. Each class meets in the Activity Building, and visitors are warmly welcomed!
